Description
Wisteria Sinensis
Wisteria Sinensis is a beautiful, hardy climber with stunning blue to lilac and white flowers hanging from the climber from May to mid-June. Attracting many species of valuable British bees and hover flies. Our own Wisteria in our garden is covered in honeybees each year.
It is the perfect cottage garden climber.
It is perfect for growing on trellis fastened to walls or fences. Also, looks fantastic as a specimen climber on a cone-shaped trellis in a border or a large pot on a sunny patio.
Ideal for a patio pergola with the bunches of flowers hanging just like bunches of blue/purple grapes.
If you have an unsightly wall or fence, this is the perfect climber to mask it, bringing a blast of colour to an otherwise unsightly wall. Prefers a sunny position, but will tolerate a slight amount of shade.
